Jai is an 8 year old who is very active in ministry at church, participating in the praise dance, drama, and choir ministries. She and her best friend have also launched a line of cosmetics, called Fancy By Besties, which features lip balms and nail polishes. Fifty percent of all the sales are donated to the homeless. Not only is Jai a talented entrepreneur, but she was also crowned Little Miss Renaissance (2013). Like with her online business, she uses that platform to address causes that are dear to her. This talented young lady is also a mighty spoken word artist/singer and will soon be releasing her first gospel song later this year.
With all she does, Jai wants to shine even more light on the homeless epidemic. For this reason, she founded her own charity on February 1, 2014 called “Children Giving Back.” She believes no one should be without proper shelter, food, and clothing. Jai strives to give to the less fortunate through her work and by hosting special events to encourage other children to adopt a spirit of charity. She uses her facebook page to recognize children who perform good deeds and she also shares positive messages, images, and scriptures to inspire her followers.
As a young girl who was victimized by bullies, Jai is also an advocate for anti-bullying and speaks out to educate and encourage young girls in similar situations. Jai is a Zolie Zi Princess Ambassador. “I want to be able to show other little girls that they can be anything they desire, no matter what mean things people say and do to them.”
Jai’s favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
We truly believe that Jai is a God's Mighty Kid because she honors God every time she recognizes those in need and makes an effort to help make a positive difference for them.
