Although Evan seems like an average 8 year old boy with many hobbies and interests, you will soon see why he is not just ordinary. His hobbies and interests include - football, baseball, basketball, WWE, learning about WWII history, horseback riding, video games, and hanging out with friends. His favorite sports teams are the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Hawks, and Georgia Tech. When playing sports, he is truly happy when other players do well and he recognizes them for their accomplishments. This young man of God is as equally focused on God’s Word as he is with his hobbies and activities. If someone asks him to pray for them, he is sure to do it. He also does a good job of remembering scriptures he has learns and will remind others of a scripture when they’re having trouble and he feels that it can help.
While Evan is a normal kid with hobbies, interests, and activities, he is very dedicated to his studies as well. He earned straight A’s in school last year and had the highest GPA in his grade. With all of his sports and other interests, he still manages to stay focused on achieving high grades. 1 Corinthians 10:31 says “...whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” Whether you are playing a sport, learning how to ride a horse, or studying, God always wants you to do your best. As a child of God, Evan does all he can to honor Him by applying himself to whatever he does, doing his best, and managing his time well. Like most kids, studying is not his favorite activity, however, he has a routine when it come to his studies which allows him to be highly successful in school. When asked if it was hard to get straight A’s, Evan replied, “It was a little hard, but I believed I could do it because I knew God was with me.”
We truly believe Evan is a God’s Mighty Kid because he always puts his best foot forward.
